Overview
Pixel Forge ("we", "our", or "the Extension") provides AI-assisted image editing, background removal, image generation, and image upscaling. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the Extension and its related backend services.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, optional display name, password hash, account status, and subscription status.
- Content you submit: images, reference images, editing instructions, prompts, and processing options that you intentionally send to an image feature.
- Transaction information: subscription plan, transfer reference, payment-review status, and timestamps. We do not collect bank-card details.
- Technical information: IP address, request time, endpoint, response status, browser or extension request metadata, and diagnostic error information.
- Authentication information: access tokens and refresh-token records needed to keep you signed in and protect your account.
How we use information
We process this information to operate image features, authenticate users, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Image and AI processing
Images and prompts submitted to AI features are sent to our backend and may be transmitted to third-party image-processing or AI providers solely to complete the requested operation. Processing providers may change as we maintain service availability. Content may be retained temporarily in operational logs or diagnostic storage where necessary to investigate errors and protect the service.
Sharing of information
We share information only with service providers needed to operate Pixel Forge, such as hosting, database, security, AI/image-processing, and administrator notification services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Data retention and security
Account and subscription records are retained while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, support, accounting, and legal purposes. Submitted content and technical logs are retained only for operational needs and are periodically removed. We use access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed passwords, expiring access tokens, and refresh-token rotation; however, no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may stop data collection by discontinuing use and uninstalling the Extension. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
Children's privacy
Pixel Forge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Extension or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available at this URL, with the updated effective date shown above.
